Background checks increase customer trust and build credibility — and that helps you get hired. That’s because, for customers, finding a Merchant they can trust is at the top of their list.
Background checks are free (we cover the cost). It’s easy to take one with ClearChecks, our background check partner.
ClearChecks is an accredited third party background check provider. They search national and state criminal databases (though databases vary by state). Learn more about ClearChecks background checks.
Background Checks are determined utilizing the following criteria’s below;
ClearHire™ – National Criminal Database
See reports included:
- Social Security Number (SSN) trace
- Addresses, Names, & DOB verification
- National database criminal records search*
- National sex offender search
If any or all of the reports displayed above are not passed, the applicant will not received a badge on their profile.
If there is any information that is inaccurate or incomplete, please contact us below within five [5] business days from the date of this notice so a decision may be completed.
Please also include a valid copy of a government issued ID or Drivers License so we can quickly investigate the disputed records.

A Top Merchant Tip
Have dreams of becoming a Top Merchant on VechFlow? One qualification for becoming a Top Merchant is completing a background check.
How to take a background check
- Create an account as a Merchant.
- Once logged into your Dashboard, navigate to the “Profile” section of your account.
- Under “Would you like to undergo a background check?” check the box and hit submit.
- VechFlow will receive your information and submit the information on your behalf. Please keep in mind that our background checks usually take 10-12 business days to process and receive results.
A Top Merchant Tip
All background checks must be submitted by the account owner. If the background check name does not match the account name, the background check won’t be processed.
Getting results
Be patient. It can take a few weeks to get results, but you should receive them within 10-12 business days.
Merchants will see a badge displayed on their profile if they’ve successfully passed our background check. Any background checks that don’t pass, doesn’t mean we exclude Merchants from our site. The Merchant will simply not receive the badge that they applied for on their profile.
